TRS-80 FreHD HDD emulator
FreHD HDD emulator for TRS-80 Model 3, 4 and 4P
TRS-80 FreHD HDD emulator
FreHD HDD emulator for TRS-80 Model 3, 4 and 4P
The FreHD is a Hard Drive emulation solution that allows you to put multiple Hard Disk images on an SD-card and run them as emulated Hard Disks on your TRS-80 Model III, 4 and 4P computer(s).
The FreHD is one of the best modern storage expansions available for Tandy Radio Shack TRS-80 Model III, 4 and 4P computers. And in combination with a Gotek you'll never need those old breaking 5.25" floppy disks ever again.
Known compatibility: TRS-80 Model III, 4 and 4P.
How to buy I'm all sold out. There are a couple of active FreHD sellers all around the world, try to find them in the TRS-80 groups on facebook: Ian Mavric (Australia), Bas Gialopsos (Greece) or Jay Newirth (USA).
Build it yourself The FreHD is an open source project designed by a man from Belgium named Frédéric Vecoven. Visit his FreHD website here: https://vecoven.com/trs80/trs80.html
Think before you act! The FreHD is a pretty expensive device to make, and some components are difficult to source. It is also a very time consuming device to build.
Attention! The silk screen indications and BOM for some reason contain a couple of seemingly intentional mistakes. Let me know if you plan on building one of these, I can help you identify those errors/mistakes.
Other useful links Ian Mavric also builds and distributes FreHD HDD emulators. His website contains a huge amount of information on the use of the FreHD, check it out here: https://www.frehd.com/

The board fits on positions D0 and F12 on the Apple II motherboard (see picture) and replaces the 6 original ROMs (D0, D8, E0, E8, F0 and F8).
Known compatibility: Apple II, Apple II+ and Apple II europlus.
EPROM contents The EPROM can contain 2 banks of software. One bank (jumper fitted) could contain the 6x original 2K Applesoft ROMs D000, D800, E000, E800, F000 and F800, and the second bank (jumper removed) could then contain the 4x INTEGER BASIC ROMs (optionally including Inspector/Watson or Programmer's Aid). You can switch the active bank by using the jumper.
Important! Please be aware that the software contained on the Apple II ROMs is still under license by Apple! If you own an original Apple II then you are implicitly licensed to use the software in the ROM of that machine. Under no circumstance should you use any Apple II ROM image if you are not legally entitled to do so.

MSX FDC-600 Disk Drive Controller
Floppy Disk Drive Controller for MSX 1/2/2+/turboR computers, also Gotek
MSX FDC-600 Disk Drive Controller
Floppy Disk Drive Controller for MSX 1/2/2+/turboR computers, also Gotek
The Floppy Disk Drive Controller FDC-600 cartridge is a clone of the Talent TDC-600 Floppy disk Interface cartridge. It optionally comes with a 3D printed case (the cartridge color and material is subject to availability).
Information from the MSX wiki (https://www.msx.org/wiki/Talent_TDC-600): This floppy disk Interface features a WD37C65 floppy disk controller that was used in many IBM-PC clones. It supports up to two drives using a standard twisted PC FDD flat cable. Drives are powered by an external power supply, since like the majority the MSX disk interfaces, this cartridge does not supply power for the drives. It is compatible with standard PC 3.5" (360 or 720kB) and 5.25" (180 or 360kB) floppy drives and accepts two drives being simultaneously connected. The interface includes a ROM with version 1 of the Disk BASIC instructions.
As you can see in the picture, the FDC-600 also works very well with a Gotek.

A very handy tool to have if you often work on those types of computers! You can just put aside that big annoying CRT top part of the computer's case that always seems to be in the way while working, and just use another monitor with a composite video cable.
Important note: This solution is not compatible with all monitors! Please see the manual for which monitors have been tested to work.

Commodore 64 Saver 2 overvoltage protection
Protect your Commodore 64 against power supply failures
Commodore 64 Saver 2 overvoltage protection
Protect your Commodore 64 against power supply failures
The electronic components (notably the capacitors, diodes and/or voltage regulator) in an original C64 power supply often go bad because of old age. When they finally fail they frequently provide a too high voltage to the computer on the 5V line, destroying multiple electronic components inside the computer.
The C64 Saver is connected between the power supply and your C64 computer and protects the computer against overvoltage issues.
